" A Fixture "

Mom & Mom-

A fixture
like abstract infinity
dwindling into pieces
erupting spontaneously
into nonstop psychedelia
beach ball spheres
over light years
wearing thin
pensively sitting
full-figured skin lit
from a single window
archival materials
long dainty fingers
nimbler new digs
in periwinkle and pinks
etched on currency
not for everyone
hallucinogenic wonders
forever shortcutted
in tremendous numbers
temperamentally jealous
and plenty venomous
external threats
boundless menaces
but still looking majestic
while playing the percentages
slim and elegant
exaggerated necks
tossed heads
in backward directions
huddling together
pretty well
making demands
and feeling anything but sad
living happily forever after
all with abandon...
