of semi-autobiographies
It's tricky! like tailoring
salt-and-pepper long hair

new-fangled males and females
still trying to stabilize their craft
floating in mid air
as ambitious expansions
of sports spectaculars

for King Kongs for example
by exchanging banter
with golden-haired handmaidens
staring open-mouthed
on versions of long-playing albums

spinning at high capacity
zeroing in on class
as celebrities behave
badly in tall tales

tragically flashing back
into hatdscrabbled arrogance
stressing the fragile
and approaching collapse

whispering, "Why exactly?"
being left unanswered
seen trailing maladaptive
software packages...
