reflecting unfinished family business
marshaled by carnival committees
deemed circuitously funny
while doing standup then suddenly
shouting, "Down in Front!"
abruptly losing touch crying, "Time's Up!"

streaking tears squirming pitch-perfect shrieking
geeky justice colleagues calling for a lot
of crane and dolly shots solving
thorny personal problems via odor-shield products
while playing air guitars with smokey monsters
of intermingling mythologies

not missing a beat hearing reverse signal beeps
beneath glass ceilings meeting with duputies
conditioned to agree with almost anything
via re-gifting within coming weeks being
booted out of high-level meetings seeking
hostages' freedoms sizing up big screens
during deadly years plinking grand pianos
squeezing keyless concertinas lending airs
of respectability to theme parks and theaters

battling for supremacy
re-defining eras
drumming up deals
ratcheting up public proxies
leveraging stocks
with eyes towards profits
for our rocky counterparts
singing obscure bella conto arias
in little-known operas
based on non-scholarly topics
well above an activist's moniker
maintaining twisted plots
traced on headstone markers...
